The Price is Right
Allright, so I got up a little earlier than normal this morning so I could finish preparing a two-day lesson that I am starting tomorrow. I flicked on the TV to see what was on, and the only thing that was remotely interesting was "The Price is Right." I have been a devoted fan of the show, I used to watch it whenever I stayed home sick from school or during the lazy days of summer. However, there is something about the show that angered me then and still does. You will all have the pleasure of feeling my wrath through the written word.
Anyone who has watched "The Price is Right" knows that the show starts with four random contestants being brought down to the front row, where they will bid on some random item. This also occurs when a new contestant is brought down. Bob Barker always starts with the person on the far left and goes straight across, or with the new contestant and wraps around. This always plays in favor of the last person who is last to bid, and here's why:
The person who is last to bid always gets a general idea of what the item in question is worth, and can bid accordingly. This is all fine and good, until that person bids ONE FUCKING DOLLAR HIGHER THAN SOMEONE ELSE AND WINS THE FUCKING PRIZE!!! WTF!!! This happens because they always take the closest bidder who does not go over the retail price of the item. I feel so angry for the person who got outbid by ONE FUCKING DOLLAR AND LOST!!! This is totally fucked and needs to be changed, but has been a common practice for many years on "The Price is Right." This has always angered me as long as I have watched the show and became enraged when I saw it happen this morning. It made me feel like trying to reach through the TV and punch the contestant, in the FACE!!! I think one guy was about to do it this morning.
I'm really getting worked up now, and it's getting difficult to type properly. So I'm going to leave everybody with that, feel free to respond. I am curious if anyone else is as angry as I am.

It always seemed like a cheap shot. Like the guy that watches someone put two hours worth of quarters into a machine, and as the guy gets up, puts in one and wins big.

They should really outlaw that in all game shows.
I still hate the Revolution.
