Something Random
I was watching "The Fifth Element" on TV the other day and a random thought came to me while the movie was playing: what kind of video game/movie technology would I like to have that doesn't exist? I ran across this topic when I was on digg.com one day (I think), and the "ZF-1" was one of the such technologies on their list. I quickly ran through some of the pieces of technology I've seen in movies and came up with a list of 3:
In no particular order, they are:
1. Lightsaber (Star Wars) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsNDXffEcPU
2. ZF-1 (The Fifth Element) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pxjnl1yuXk
3. Lightcycle (Tron) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3ODe9mqoDE
I tried to limit this list to three because I didn't want to go overboard. I'm sure I can think of other things to replace items on this list, these are just the ones that came to mind immediately. This is something random I was thinking about today while teaching. Respond if you like, I'm curious to see what you all have to say. Ninja McFear out.
New Hot or Not in the works.

I am with you on the lightsaber and the cycles, but I'm not a big fan of guns, even one as versatile as the ZF-1.
