Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and Television in General
Greetings.
This is suppose to be a highly polished entry with pictures and video clips of all the television shows I love, but I'm tired and I have a cold, and I finally got contacted by my research adviser and now have a bunch of work to do for that.
I did, however, want to introduce you to Joss Whedon's latest creation Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (torrent). Available below for free (with commercials) (click to go to Hulu and watch in HD).
I've only seen the first act (of three), but pretty much love it. I hope you enjoy.
I've been disappointed in TV recently, and this is something new and good.
I miss having something by Aaron Sorkin to watch (having now seen every episode of every show he's ever been involved with) and after loving Sports Night for years, I started in on The West Wing. I still frequently find myself flipping channels past 2 and a Half Men, and America's Got Talent, wishing more than anything for a new episode of The West Wing.
WTF AARON SORKIN, WRITE SOME NEW GOD DAMN SHOWS ALREADY!
(As a side note, anyone else notice how much Obama sounds like Bartlet?)
Anyhow, as far as currently on TV, I'm down to BSG (Soon to be over) The Office (same) and a new series I've started to love called Mad Men (check it out).
Oh, and Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, which has come and gone in one fowl swoop (it's a one time thing produced for the web).
So go watch it. It's got Doogie Howser, Captain Malcolm Reynolds, and a cute redhead. What more could you want?

Joss Whedon and Aaron Sorkin should team up and take over Hollywood. All would be well with the world if that were to happen. I loved the West Wing, but when Sorkin left (what was that, season 4?) the show really shit the bed.
Obama sounds JUST like Bartlet. I wonder when he is going to yell at God in a Cathedral in Washington, that would be a good time.
BSG is almost gone, but it seems to be going well. I submit to you that the new Doctor Who series is a good time, and I highly recommend it.
Doctor Horrible is bad ass, I saw that awhile back, nice to see Joss is still alive and kicking. Speaking of which, nice to see a post from Geoff. Hope all is well man, good luck with your research.
Pat got me into World of Warcraft... don't ask.
