Heart-Moving Story, or the Biggest Retard Ever?

Found this story while I was on digg.com and thought it was pretty interesting. I basically created a poll out of this post (read the title), and will leave my opinion to myself. It's a short article, and you can read it here:

Read Me

Just thought I would post that mostly because I haven't posted anything in a while. Hope everyone's holidays treated you well. Take care everybody, and Happy New Year.

Working on the next Hot or Not. Really.

Heart Warming Story.

I read it yesterday I think. I thought it was cool. The kid gave up his knife at the end. Probably a retard if the kid was 35 or something, but I thought this was cool.

What's your opinions (both of you)?

Heart Warming.

It isn't often that you hear about something like this, but it does happen. The fact that the kid was still young and impressionable probably helped a lot, and he clearly wasn't strung out on meth or anything, but it is still great to hear that even the most desperate soul can still be talked away from the edge.

I agree with you guys completely. I thought he was being pretty gracious giving the kid his coat and offering him a meal. It seems that hope is alive after all if the kid was willing to return the wallet and give up his knife. Maybe he'll change his ways and work to make his own money (that may have sounded bad, but I mean it in the nicest way). This story could have easily turned bad if the kid had decided to gut the guy, which is why I posed this question to you guys. Heart warming to the end.
