State of the Site

Ahoy Fuckers! :)

I thought I'd post a "State of the Site" since, well, I'm going to change things in the near future.

Things here at Churducken have gotten weird and buggy. Like, I have to logout of churducken and then log into typepad before i can post comments... spam is out of control, and blocking legit messages... the design is stale. "Most recent comments" no longer actually shows the most recent comments...

I'm not a big fan of this version of Movable Type. I use to like Movable Type (MT) the best as far as blog software went, but now I'm thinking about trying WordPress (WP).

WP and MT are the two major competing systems for this type of blog. I'm going to install both of them (the latest versions) to try out. I'll post more info when I do. We can all try them, and I'm hoping that you all will tell me which you like more (and why).

Things might be buggy at first, while I set all the configuration and crap. Just warning you.

Also, while I'm actually moving to the new versions, the site will go down, so, you know, that's what's going on.

Sounds good man. This system is kinda hard to work with, so I am looking forward to messing with some new options :-)

I've been having the same problem posting comments as well. I'm down with whatever you guys want to do. I think the new version of TypePad made things more confusing anyway.
