Apparently throwing a shoe or the sole is one of the worst ways to show disdain toward someone in the Arab world. Go figure.

Yeah, I heard about that after I posted this. Apparantly after a statue of Saddam was town down, the people in the village smacked the hell out of it with their shoes. Major dis in the Arab world.
