Sup Elkins,

I know it's a month late, but things are going well. School is ending well, although not easily (still some hard as classes). The last quarter killed me, hopefully next will be easier. It's not really a business, I don't do enough work or make enough money at it to count for anything, though I have had some people asking me about websites.

I'm glad to hear things are going well in the bay... You take the GRE yet? I have to re-take it, I miserably failed the essay portion somehow. Too much time talking to machines I suppose :)

I'm sorry to hear classes are kicking your ass, but you are on the home stretch man, be happy! Work will pick up in time I'm sure, it all just takes patience, hard work and networking.

Alas, no GRE yet, I still have this semester to go and then one more in the Fall, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have to take the JPET in May, which a fun little nugget we have to take here at SFSU. It is basically a glorified written exam to prove we didn't have a stroke and forget how to write during our time here.

LOL, is that like a general writing exam? Or is it Philosophy specific?

It sounds like something here called the Upper Division Composition Exam. If it's what I'm thinking about, it's called the WPE (Writing Proficiency Exam) at CSUS.

If it *IS* that, I wouldn't worry about it... you'll pass in your sleep.

Yeah, that sounds exactly like what I have to take here. Different names for the same silly bureaucracy, haha.

It isn't subject specific, they just give you a prompt and say "GO" and then grade you on your thesis and idea flow, etc. No biggie, but one that could be easily underestimated, and I would hate to shine it on and have it be the one thing keeping me from graduating, hahaha.

I would pass it in my sleep... if I slept anymore. *sigh* My nights are typically spent reading books by people long since dead (spiritually if not physically) and/or working on my main character on WoW.

It is funny, I play fewer games these days than ever before in my life. I am not even on WoW more than an hour or two every couple of days. How things change eh?
