WTF is Wrong with Me?

Allright, first of all, I'm a little embarrassed to be sharing this, but I suppose I shouldn't. So today I had a sub job at Matsuyama teaching Fourth grade. They're a pretty cool class, but like all classes there's a few that like to push my buttons (or at least try). That's something that I've learned happens in all classes, I've learned to deal with it and how to deal with those kids.
Anyhow, I had the kids work on a couple things this morning and we were in the middle of correcting one of their assignments when I started to feel a little queasy. It was something that (in part thanks to my training) I've taught myself to ignore and push through, but it really didn't get any better. I started feeling slightly lightheaded, so I went to the teacher next door and asked if he could watch the kids while I got myself checked out by the nurse real quick. He popped in the classroom and I was talking with him for a bit when all of a sudden I found myself coming to on the floor. I FUCKING PASSED OUT!!!
They called my mom and she came over, and I spent some time getting checked out by the nurse. My blood pressure and blood sugar and junk were normal, but I went to the med center to get checked out by a doctor anyway. They ran an EKG and all that jazz; they found my blood pressure to be slightly low and my heartbeat showed slight irregularity, but not enough to be greatly concerned. They felt that's the culprit, but they couldn't really narrow it down. Therefore, they took a couple vials of my blood to test. Until they can figure it out, my driver's license is suspended.
So as I type this, I'm sitting at home confused, frustrated, and a little angry. I feel embarrassed by the whole thing, but I suppose this could happen to anybody. That doesn't make me feel any better though. Hopefully everything is okay and they find that I had some kind of vitamin deficiency, that's easy enough to fix. Until then, I have to find people to give me rides wherever I need to go.
Just wanted to get that out there, so if I die or something you all know how it happened. Just don't say it was pirates. Or robots.

UPDATE: I was supposed to have my consultation today (Wednesday) for the results of my cardiogram and heart monitor, but they canceled it because apparently the person who made the appointment didn't realize the doctor I was supposed to see was doing an operation today (or it could have been an emergency, but I like my theory better). Anyhow, it got rescheduled to next Tuesday. I was pissed at first and called my doctor to see if she would at least clear me to drive to work and shit, at which point she told me that I could legally drive, but against her recommendation (note: she told me my license was suspended when I saw her last week, stupid bitch). Therefore, I'm going to drive as much as I can until I get paperwork from DMV telling me that my license is suspended, which they may not even do. Our good friend Ryan has a friend who can check on these things and may possibly "misplace" the paperwork, he also told me that I can contest the suspension, which I plan to do if it is. Long update, but that's what is going on.

Shit man, I'm really sorry to hear that. I really hope you're ok. Though it could be any number of things, it could also just be a fluke. It is nothing to be embarrassed about, seriously. Just tough it out, wait for the test results and you'll be back behind the wheel in no time.

Yeah, still doesn't help but you know how stubborn I am. It's nice to know you care though. Hopefully I'll get the results soon, cause I got stuff to do during Spring Break. I'm trying to coax Ryan into using his police influence (i.e. his gun)

Hey man, any word on the test results yet?

My blood test results came back negative, and I'm currently hooked up to a heart monitor that I need to keep on until 2 tomorrow afternoon. I went to the Cardiology lab at Mercy today to get an Echocardiogram, which I'll likely be told the results when I'm there on Wednesday. I'm pretty sure that as well as the heart monitor won't show anything, as my symptoms weren't related to low blood pressure or irregular heartbeat. The only thing that comes to mind that would cause my queasiness and nausea was the funky pop-tart that I ate that morning. I started in on it, paused when I thought it was a little off in the taste department, but like a retard I finished it off. I didn't tell my doctor because I hadn't put the pieces together at that point. We'll see what happens though, I just really need my license back. Thanks for asking Will.
