No Zombie Outbreak? Really?
I think this goes back to when the three of us started hanging out together, but I became fascinated (and a little horrified) with the zombie outbreak theory. Zombie movies and games were added to my list, and I secretly calculated my chances of survival during a zombie outbreak. I played several games and took quizzes that gave me my survival chance if there ever were an outbreak. I usually did pretty well, and was pretty confident in my abilities. However, the inherent problem with those sorts of things is that we actually have no standard to base these things on; there has never actually been a zombie outbreak, so we have no idea what their capabilities are, just theories. Anyone who has watched zombie movies or played zombie games knows that they all differ in the abilities the zombies possess. In some zombies can run, in others they can't. The list goes on forever.
Anyhow, a few days ago I found something on cracked.com that pretty much squashes all possibilities of a real outbreak:
Admittedly, I was a little disappointed because I really am curious to see if I would survive a real outbreak. To help reassure everyone, I was more relieved because the article makes total sense, most of them I never even thought of. Leave it to Hollywood to plant ideas in my head. Damn you!!!
